Students in grades K-5 are creating transformation drawings. The goal is to use the squiggle line as part of a drawing and to transform it into something unexpected. It’s exciting to see students stretch their creativity and come up with unique ways to use the squiggle in their drawings. You can try this at home too.
Start by drawing a line like the one below. Next imagine what this squiggle could become in your drawing. Try turning the paper or ipad around in different ways and think about how this line could become part of a drawing of something creative and unexpected.
How did you transform your squiggle? Leave a comment and share about your drawings!
